Dorothy Alvera Huggins

	Dorothy Alvera Huggins, age 83, of Pinckneyville, died Tuesday, May 22, 2001 at 3:15 p.m. in the Pinckneyville Healthcare Center.
	Dorothy was born in Cutler on April 13, 1918, the daughter of John Thomas and Nellie (Forbes) Woodside.  She married Vallie Everett Huggins on January 19, 1933 and he preceded her in death on March 23, 1985.
	Survivors include three sons, Virgil Everett Huggins and wife Helen of Pinckneyville, Vernon Eugene Huggins and wife Annetta of Pinckneyville, Vallie Elroy Huggins and wife Ruth of Pinckneyville; two daughters, Doris Eslinger and husband Chuck of Tamaroa and Fay Clark and husband Henry of DuQuoin;  16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren and one sister, Norma Habberman of Willisville.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three brothers and four sisters.
	Funeral services were held at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville Friday, May 25 at 11 a.m. with Brother Ted Clark officiating.  Interment was in the Cutler Cemetery.
	Friends called at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville Thursday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. and again on Friday morning from 8 a.m. until services.
	Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
